Bachelor of Engineering Program in Electrical Communication and Electronic Engineering
Curriculum name : Bachelor of Engineering Program in Electrical Communication and Electronic Engineering

Description : This degree-program emphasizes the foundations, essential practices, and core subjects in electrical communication and electronic engineering for undergraduate students. Courses are designed to maximize students’ learning from the perspective of theory, application, and laboratory practice. All courses are thought in Thai.

Curriculum objectives :

  1. educate the undergraduate students, with an emphasis on electronics and telecommunications curriculum, so that upon graduation they are able to contribute positively to the workforce
  2. create the learning environments and pedagogic resources, such as textbooks, teaching materials, and cutting-edge research, that advance the electronics and telecommunications industry in the country
  3. train personnel in government and private sectors with new technologies and practices that are relevant to their needs

Tuition : Tuition consists of two parts: flat-rate and per-credit. In each semester, an undergraduate student pays a flat tuition rate of 12,000 baht and is charged 500 baht per each credit he or she registers. A typical semester entails approximately 19 credits and hence a per-credit fees of approximately 9,500 bath. The tuition fees are summarized below:

Description : This degree-program emphasizes the foundations, essential practices, and core subjects in electrical communication and electronic engineering for undergraduate students. Courses are designed to maximize students’ learning from the perspective of theory, application, and laboratory practice. All courses are thought in English.

Curriculum objectives :

  1. To produce bachelor's degree graduates with a strong focus on electronics systems and electrical and telecommunications systems, while also enhancing their English language skills. Producing well-prepared graduates will improve efficiency, save time in training and system learning, and enable them to effectively transfer and adapt foreign technologies to suit domestic industrial conditions.
  2. To develop teaching, research, and the production of teaching materials and textbooks in electronics and electrical telecommunications systems, thereby contributing to domestic industrial development and technology transfer, and bringing Thailand up to par with international standards.
  3. To develop existing personnel in both the public and private sectors to keep pace with new technologies in the industry.

Master of Engineering Program in Electrical and Information Engineering
Curriculum name : Master of Engineering Program in Electrical and Information Engineering

Description : This program focusses on producing graduates who are able to conduct research studies and develop electrical engineering and information technology. They can learn new technology by themselves and can analyze problems and appropriately apply new technology in electrical engineering and information technology. The graduates should also gain basic knowledge and in-depth knowledge in electrical engineering, control systems, electronics and telecommunication as well as information technology so as to suitably create, apply and transfer knowledge.

Curriculum objectives :

  1. To produce master's graduates, engineers, and academics with knowledge and skills in research and development in electrical engineering, control systems, electronics, communications, and information technology.
  2. To establish academic collaboration in research and the development of new knowledge that is fundamental to development with universities and industries in Thailand.

  1. To produce doctoral graduates, academics, researchers, and engineers with knowledge, abilities, skills, and research achievements in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, communication engineering, and information engineering that are internationally recognized and lead to hardware and/or software innovations and high-level prototype research.
  2. To establish academic collaboration in research and the development of new knowledge that is fundamental to development with universities and industries in Thailand.
  3. To enable graduates to clearly and accurately disseminate knowledge in their area of ​​expertise to professionals or others, in a manner consistent with practical approaches to solving problems using academic principles.
  4. To elevate the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, into a national center for research and development in the field of electrical and information engineering technology.
