Criteria for Exceeding the Curriculum's Credit Limit:

1. Regular Students, Years 1 to 4, Semester 1: A cumulative GPA less than 2.5 is prohibited from registering for more than the curriculum's credit limit. A GPA of 2.5 to 3.00 may register for 1 additional course (no more than 3 credits). A GPA of 3.00 or higher may register for additional credits as deemed appropriate by the advisor.

2. Cooperative Education Students, Year 3: A cumulative GPA less than 2.5 may register for 1 additional course (no more than 3 credits). A GPA of 2.5 to 3.00 may register for 2 additional courses (no more than 6 credits). A GPA of 3.00 or higher may register for additional credits as deemed appropriate by the advisor.

3. Fourth-year students, second semester: Students may register for more credits than the curriculum allows, as deemed appropriate by their advisor.
